Edmonton General Hospital Ministry

We are blessed at All Saints’ to encompass the Edmonton General Hospital in our parish boundary, and we embrace the people there as part of our parish family.

On the second Wednesday of the month at 11:00am, a member of the clergy from All Saints’, together with parishioners from our Sunday services, conduct a Eucharistic service in the hospital chapel. Parishioners help the hospital residents with limited mobility get to the chapel and help those unable to hold the service bulletin and hymn book to follow along in the service. The service is a blessing to those physically unable to go to their home parish, and helping meet their need to worship is a blessing to the clergy and parishioners who come. Please join us!

Lay people and clergy from the cathedral also do much visitation at the Edmonton General Hospital. Our lay coordinator for parish ministry at the Edmonton General is Maureen Bedford. If you would like to come to the service and help out, or if you would like to explore being a part of the visitation ministry, please contact Maureen through the Cathedral Office at 780-428-6323.
