It is my great joy to welcome you to All Saints’ Cathedral and to invite you to come and to experience the life of this community for yourself. The people of All Saints' have, for generations, made space in the midst of downtown Edmonton to pray together, to sing and create, and to provide care for all who we encounter. We strive to follow the way of Jesus and work to be an inclusive and welcoming church so that we might all know the love of God and to be reminded that we are all welcome and belong in the life of God. There are many entry points into this community, from Sunday morning worship that takes place each week at 8:30am (for a quiet spoken traditional service) and at 10:30am (for a beautiful and full choral Eucharist), to our weekly fruit and vegetable market, community breakfasts, mid-week eucharist, and other community life events.
And so, with the words of blessing from the Iona Community, we invite you:
This is the table, not of the church but of Jesus Christ.
It is made ready for those who love him
And who want to love him more.
So come, you who have much faith and you who have little;
You who have been here often
And you who have not been for a long time
or ever before;
You who have tried to follow and you who have failed;
Come, not because the Church invites you;
It is Christ, and he invites you to meet him here.
Yours in Christ,
Alexandra+
